2.6 REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE FOR FAN (FOR D3X CONTROLLER)
Fans are installed for the card rack, the power block unit, and the MC unit. This section
describes the replacement procedure for these fans.
2.6.1 FAN FOR CARD RACK
1. Turn OFF the control power.
2. Remove the connector connecting the fan to the card rack. Then, loosen and remove the
two screws fixing the fan unit.
3. Remove the power line and the earth wire connected to the fan. Loosen the four screws
fixing the fan, and then remove the fan.
4. Attach the new fan with the four screws, and restore the power line and earth wire removed
in step 3. Be sure to reattach the fan correctly; wind blows top to down.
5. Attach the fan unit to the top of the card rack, and fasten it with the two screws.
6. Restore the connector removed in step 2.
