ERROR CODE E5003

Illegal extend (retract) output signal.

Occurs when the output signals for the extend and retract operation of a spot welding
application are not properly set.

Check the setting in AUX 0605.

ERROR CODE E5004

Weld completion signal already input.

Displayed when the weld completion signal is received before the weld initiate output.

Main causes include:
1. Weld completion signal is not set OFF, after the last welding step.
2. Before the weld completion signal is set OFF, the robot started execution of the next

welding step.

Check operation of welding equipment (gun and weld controller/timer), check the
signal number setting in AUX 0605-11, repair/modify as necessary.

Check the 1KA/1GW (1HW) boards and replace as necessary.

Check the interlock circuit and repair as necessary.

Check program data, weld timing, and welding data settings, modify as necessary

ERROR CODE E5005

Welding schedule setting data is abnormal.
(Spot weld specifications type B)

The weld conditions set for the program welding point are out of range or not set for
clamp 1.

Ensure the correct weld conditions are set for the program weld point.

ERROR CODE E5006

CLAMP SPEC is not set PULSE.

The error occurs when the spot weld clamp signal specification in the system (robot
system switch RWC=ON) is set to level instead of pulse.

Ensure the spot weld clamping signal specification is set to pulse using the
SETCLAMP AS Language command.
