ERROR CODE E6540

Beyond AVC tracking ability.

Occurs when the current tracking value exceeds the threshold value and the number of
times value set for RTPM tracking ability errors.

Main causes include:
1. Weld start-point is too far from the groove.
2. Defective weld controller/timer, or weld controller/timer set OFF.
3. The deviation error detection value is set too low.

Ensure the welding start point is taught in the grove. Starting outside the grove
causes this error

.

Execute a weld with AVC disabled, to ensure the weld controller/timer is operating
properly.

If the welding groove is being tracked normally, the deviation error detection value
may be set too low. Increase the value.

ERROR CODE E6541

No AVC board.

Main causes include:
1. AVC (1FH) board is not installed onto the 1KA board.

ERROR CODE E6542

AVC voltage deviation error.

During AVC function execution, the reference voltage and/or feedback voltage exceeds
the threshold value specified for over-voltage detection.

Main causes include:
1. Defective weld controller/timer, or weld controller/timer set OFF.
2. Defective harness or harness connections.

Execute a weld with AVC disabled to ensure the weld controller/timer is operating
properly.

Check the voltage sensing device and harness, and repair/replace as necessary.
