ERROR CODE E6536

RTPM current deviation error.

Occurs when actual current exceeds commanded current (feedback current) for a time
period exceeding the current deviation error time-out value.

Main causes include:
1. Weld start-point is too far from the groove.
2. Defective weld controller/timer, or weld controller/timer set OFF.
3. Incorrect linearization or offset/gain.

Ensure the weld start point is taught in the welding groove.

Set controller power to OFF and reseat the 1FH board and the 1FH board connec-
tors.

Ensure the welding unit power is ON and in proper operating condition.

Ensure the RTPM function is activated.

Ensure the welding unit metered current, during a continuous bead, is the same as
the commanded current.

Ensure values set for linearization or offset/gain are correct.

Weld with RTPM disabled, and check for problems with the weld controller/timer and
repair/replace as necessary.

ERROR CODE E6537

RTPM tracking value is out or range.

Occurs when the deviation detection value exceeds the error check value set in RTPM,
continuously, exceeding the number of times allowed.

Main causes include:
1. Weld start-point is too far from the groove.
2. Defective weld controller/timer, or weld controller/timer set OFF.
3. The deviation error detection value is set too low.

Ensure the weld start point is taught in the welding groove.

Weld with RTPM disabled, and check for problems with the weld controller/timer and
repair/replace as necessary.

If the welding groove is being tracked normally, the deviation error detection value
may be set too low. Increase the value.
