Transferring Instrument Condition Files, Service Logs, and Event Details
There is a range of other file types you can transfer to your service representative for
troubleshooting. Transfer the following file types if your service representative asks for them.

Instrument condition files — basic system configuration files

Service logs — instrument information up to a specified date and time

Event details — more detailed information around a specified date and time

Incident report — detailed information at the time of a specific event. See Transferring
Incident Report Files below for instructions for this procedure.
Use the following procedure to transfer instrument condition files, service log files, and/or event
detail files. Instrument condition files are automatically transferred with service logs and event
details.
1. Attach a USB device to the instrument (see Attach or Remove a USB Key above).
2. Configure the Transfer configuration files and event summaries section of the File
transfer screen as described below, depending on the types of files you want to transfer:

To transfer instrument condition files, do not tap any of the additional file type buttons
(Service logs, Event details, or Incident report). Go straight to the Transfer files
button (next step).

To transfer service logs tap Service logs and set an incident date. Check the Event log
screen to identify when the event you are interested in occurred. Select whether to
transfer all service logs up to that date, or logs for three or one days preceding the date.
