Replacing the AutoMax PC3000 Packaged

Version

You can replace individual cards within the chassis; see sections

20.3 and 20.5. To replace the entire chassis, follow these steps:
Step 1.

Turn off the AutoMax PC3000, and disconnect its

incoming power.

Step 2.

Disconnect the AllenĆBradley Remote I/O cables and the

DCSĆNET network cables, if present.

Step 3.

UnĆmount the chassis.

Step 4.

Mount the new chassis. See chapter 6 for more

information.

Replacing the Filter for the AutoMax

PC3000 Packaged Version

We recommend that you inspect the AutoMax PC3000 Packaged

Version's filter every month. The type of environment in which it is

used determines how frequently you must replace the filter.
An extra filter ships with each AutoMax PC3000 Package Version.

Technical Services at 1Ć800Ć669Ć6119.
To replace the filter, refer to figure 20.1 and follow these steps:

Step 1.

Turn off the AutoMax PC3000, and disconnect its

incoming power.

Step 2.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws at the

bottom of the filter cover.
