Verify Disk
The names of the disks you have are:
DUA0 = disk 1
DUA1 = disk 2
To verify a disk, follow this procedure.
1.
Make sure you are at the console prompt, then enter:
TEST 71
2.
You see:
VSmsv QUE–unitno (0–1)?
3.
Enter 0 to verify disk DUA0 or 1 to verify disk DUA1.
If you see:
VSmsv_STS_Siz . . . . . RD54
VSmsv_QUE_RUsure (DUA0 1/0) ?
then the disk has already been formatted.
If you see:
VSmsv_STS_Siz . . . . . ??
VSmsv_RES_Err #2
84 FAIL

then the disk has not been formatted or a problem has occurred. Go
to the formatting procedure in the next section.
4.
To make sure the formatted disk is in good operating condition,
enter

If you see a display similar to this:
