To clean the pump heads

1.

Remove the pump head inlet and outlet check valves as explained in

2.

Immerse the entire pump head in an ultrasonic cleaner.

3.

Sonicate the pump head with a standard cleaning solution for about 5 min, or
as necessary.

4.

Rinse the pump head thoroughly with deionized water.

Reassemble the pump head. See

6.

Insert the outlet lines into a waste bottle.

7.

Run the pump at 1 ml/min with deionized water for about 15 min to ensure that
the seals are seated.

To remove the pump head check valves

1.

Hold each pump head housing so its OUT check valve is on the top.

Tip:

In this position, the IN check valve housing is on the bottom of the

pump head housing.
