4. Slide the fitting nut, lock ring, and the ferrule, in that order, onto the tubing.
Note: The stainless steel lock ring is not in the fluid path, so
biocompatibility is maintained.
5. Extend the tubing slightly beyond the end of the ferrule.
6. Use the fittings tightener (supplied in the fittings kit) to seat and tighten the
ferrule onto the tubing.
a. Insert the assembly into one of the ports on the fittings tightener.
b. Turn the fitting nut clockwise until it is finger tight.
c. When the fitting is tight, turn the fitting nut counter-clockwise to remove
the ferrule from the fitting tightener port.
7. View the tip of the tube and ferrule and ensure that they are aligned before use.
