boundary. The transmit performance area measures the amount of outgoing laser to help you determine
whether the SFP is in good working condition. If the counter often exceeds the threshold, the SFP is
deteriorating.

Recommended

Action

Verify that your optical components are clean and function properly. Replace deteriorating cables or
SFPs. Check for damage from heat or age.
