Message

Zoning operation failed to complete on the local switch - code <Error Code>.

Probable Cause

Indicates an IPC error occurred between Name Server and Zone Server.

Recommended

Action

The switch is in an inconsistent state and can be corrected only by a reboot or power cycle.

Upon reboot, if switch is unable to join the fabric due to a zone conflict, issue cfgClear command.

If there is an enabled-configuration, commit cfgClear operation by issuing cfgDisable.

If there is no enabled-configuration, commit cfgClear operation by issuing cfgSave.
