User
User name for use with key card.
edit. yes/no
: with 'no' it is not possible to change
the user name.
Request user name
With 'yes' a user name request will be displayed auto-
matically after start-up of the instrument or sign-on with a
key card.
Softkey
[Set default]
resets all settings to default values.
13.3.3 Creating a key card
The status definitions and the settings of the sofkey bars can be saved in an
access control file. A data card containing an access control file (*.acf) can
be used as a key card.
Insert a formatted SRAM card in the memory card slot of the 796 Titroproc-
essor and press [File] on the Access Control page.

In the file dialog window a file name and a comment can be introduced.
Select the storage 'Data card' and press [Save].
A key card must contain only one access control file. When a sign-on oc-
curs the first found access control file will be loaded and its settings will ef-
fect.
However, for backup purposes it is possible to store more than one access
control files on a data card (or in the internal storage).
