8. Configure the following parameters as necessary:
Status
Click Enable or Disable to enable or disable DoS on the selected ports.
Mirror Port
This option applies to the Land, Tear Drop, Ping of Death, and IP
Options. You can use this option to copy the examined traffic to a
mirror port for analysis with a data analyzer. To define the destination
port, refer to “Creating a Port Mirror” on page 114.
9. Click Apply.
The defense is immediately activated on the ports.
10. From the Configuration menu, select the Save Config option to
permanently save your changes. (This option is not displayed if there
are no changes to save.)
