Setting the units of measurement influences only the dis-
play. All the parameters in the controller are saved internally
in increments (inc, inc/s, inc/s

...) and are not converted until
they are written or read.
Measurements transmitted directly via RS232 are conducted
on an increment basis (for conversion see appendix A.4).
