Current limiting

The motor current can be specified with 1 to 200 % of the
rated motor current depending on the specific application
(see FCT/PlugIn help MTR-DCI).

Positioning axis DMES can carry out homing run with the fac-
tory-set current limitation (150 % of the rated motor current).
The current limitation need not be modified.

Note
Please note the following when adapting the current
limitation:

– By means of a current limitation, the maximum possible

speed of homing run will also be reduced. The set rated
speed will therefore, in some cases, no longer be
achieved.

– If the drive is arranged vertically, an increase in the

motor current may be necessary. If the motor current is
too low, homing run cannot be carried out.
