invoice number, order date, total, and tax values.
• OCR Voting Evaluator: Compares the result of zones character wise and
selects the best result for each character to save to the field.
• Relation Evaluator: Rates the results of one locator in comparison to the
results of another locator based on the relative locations the results.
• Script Locator: Uses custom script events to locate data. The locator exits to a
script that implements the location method or calls a custom locator DLL.
Scripts are written with the built-in VBA-compatible script language.
• Standard Evaluator: Compares the results of several locators and selects a set
of results based on some preset criteria.
• Table Locator: Fills table fields. You must define fields in a table model and
then map the fields to the locator.
• Zone Locator: Reads items from predefined zones on a document. The data
items must be in the same location on all the documents (for example, fields on
a form).
• Amount Group Locator: This group locator contains fields that are related to
amounts, including the total. For example, net amount, total amount, tax rate
and tax amount are all part of this group. Note that many of these fields are
optional and need not be present on the invoice.
• Invoice Group Locator: This group locator contains fields related to the type
of information typically found in invoice headers.
• Order Group Locator: This group locator contains fields related to the
supplier or vendor. For example, the order number and order date are
included.
Any standard locator can be restricted so that it only examines specific regions or
pages of a document. In addition, each locator or evaluator has its own properties for
configuring extraction alternatives.
The best alternative is copied to the field. A locator can be assigned to several fields.
Some locators allow reusing results from another locator.
