Registration
Select the type of registration to be use for a zone.
Select either Automatic to use normal registration or OCR for OCR registration.
Automatic registration corrects small shifts, skew, and linear stretching by adjusting
the document using graphical elements such as lines and other background elements.
With OCR registration, the document is aligned to the typewritten text of the
document. This option is able to correct for greater shifts, skew and linear stretching,
but requires full text OCR for all pages.
List of Zones
This list contains the zones defined for the reference document, the page where the
zone is used (either 1 or last), the name of the recognition profile, and the zone type.
Buttons
Add
Click this button to add a zone.
Delete
Click this button to remove the currently selected zone.
Rename
Click this button to change the zone’s name.
Copy for voting
Click this button to copy a zone for voting.
Properties
Click this button to open the zone’s properties dialog box. You can also double-
click a zone in the list. For further details see
Zone Settings properties dialog box.
Profiles
Click this button to open the Project Settings Dialog Box - Profiles Tab to add and
change recognition profiles.
Advanced Zone Locator Properties Dialog Box – SubFields Tab
Use the Subfields tab to create subfields and map them to the zones.
