Edit and complete the regular expression by entering additional characters
before or after the dictionary placeholder in the edit box.

Click Add or Modify to accept the changes and move the regular expression
to the list of formats.

If the dictionary file that is used when defining a format becomes
unavailable to the project, the format using that dictionary will be ignored
and the locator list will display a warning.
When a dictionary is used in a regular expression, the option “Search dictionary
exact” can be selected. Check this option to search only for the exact words in the
dictionary. By default, the items in the dictionary are searched using a fuzzy
technology. Especially for large dictionaries (for example, for names, cities etc.), it is
recommended that an exact search be used.
Only one dictionary for each format expression is allowed. If you add two
dictionaries to the same format expression and you click Add to add the expression
to the format list, then the error “Only 1 dictionary per format supported!” is
displayed. Click OK and delete one of the dictionaries from the expression. If you
want to use a second dictionary, add an additional format.
Dictionaries as Keywords
Dictionaries can be used as part of a format expression or as a source for a list of
keywords.
