Change the Startup type to “Automatic.” To disable the automatic startup of
the service change the Startup type back to manual.

To process files with Xtrata Pro Server from a network share

From the Windows taskbar, select Start | Settings | Control
panel | Administrative Tools | Services to display the Services utility.

Note

This sequence may differ according to the version of your operating

system. For example, in Windows XP, select Start | All
Programs | Administrative Tools | Services.

Change the user account for the following five services by opening the
service property dialog box and, in the Log On tab, specify a user account
with network access in the “This account” field.

• Ascent Xtrata Pro Extraction Service #1-4

Ascent Xtrata Pro Batch Processing Service Performance Monitoring

After you start the Ascent Xtrata Pro Batch Processing Service, a new performance
counter will be added to the performance objects in the Windows monitoring system.

What is Measured

The following list shows the items that can be tracked. The name of the counter is
listed in parenthesis.

• Number of different batch classes processed (# Batch Classes).
• Total number of documents processed per hour (# Documents / Hr).
• Total number of pages processed per hour (# Pages / Hr).
• Number of child services (# Services).
• Average number of documents processed per hour (Avg # Documents / Hr).
• Average number of pages processed per hour (Avg # Pages / Hr).
• Current state of the service — 10 represents “Idle”, 20 represents “Polling”,

and 30 represents “Working” (Service State).

• Rate of valid documents — valid documents divided by all documents (Valid

Docs Rate).

• Rate of valid fields — valid fields divided by all fields (Valid Fields Rate).
