Manual Mode
The manual mode is activated by selecting the Manual radio button in the Selection
detection method area of the Table Locator properties dialog box Settings tab and
adding a sample document.
To define an optional row in a table, the line is selected in the table viewer for the
sample document by drawing a rectangle around one table row. When you release
the mouse button, the rectangle snaps to the table row. Once a sample line item is
selected in the sample document, the Master Item and Cells tabs can be used to
define optional rows and data cells.
Optional Rows and Comments
The selected table row is displayed in the Lines Viewer of the Master Item tab. Click
the line that should be defined as an optional row. The optional row then appears in
a lighter color and the line number is added to the Optional Lines field in the Line
Settings panel.
The option “Many comments per item” can be selected, if there may be multiple
rows of comments between the line items.
