Processing Batches

If run from the Start menu, Ascent Xtrata Pro Server immediately begins polling for
batches to process. If batches are ready for Ascent Xtrata Pro Server, they are
processed in order, based on priority and age. The batch having the highest priority
is processed first, and if two batches have the same priority then the older batch is
processed first.
While processing a batch, progress and certain statistics are displayed. Optionally,
the zones that were registered in Ascent Xtrata Pro can also be displayed.
The following statistics and progress indicators are displayed:
Current Batch Information
This includes the name of the current batch, and the name of the batch class
assigned to the batch.
Current Batch Progress
This area shows the progress of the current batch measured as the number of
documents processed, along with the active service. Up to four services can be
run in parallel, and the number of services currently in use is shown as small
lighted lamps in the Service State area.
Current Document Statistics
This area shows statistics for the current document. It shows the total number of
extracted fields relative to all fields that have already been processed and the
average extraction confidence. The average confidence can be used to judge
overall extraction quality.
Current Document Information
This area shows information about the current document, including the name of
the current class (displayed in blue) as well as all fields and their extraction
results. The field values are displayed in black if they are associated with an
Ascent Capture index field.
If no Ascent Capture index field is associated with an Ascent Xtrata Pro
extraction field, the fields are extracted but the results are not transferred to
Ascent Capture. This might be done intentionally for fields that are only needed
during the extraction process. Or, this might indicate a synchronization error
where the project was not completely synchronized with the batch class.
Event Log
The Event Log list displays Ascent Xtrata Pro Server event messages. To see a
full message in a message box, you can double-click an entry.
