Publishing Batch Classes
Ascent Capture batch classes must be published before they can be used for creating
batches. In addition, they must be republished whenever batch class settings change.
Note
You cannot publish a batch class that includes Ascent Xtrata Pro Server unless
the batch class has been synchronized with an Ascent Xtrata Pro project. Attempting
to do so will result in a publishing error.
X To publish a batch class

From the Administration module’s Definitions panel, select the Batch tab.

Right-click the batch class that you want to publish and select Publish from
the context menu to display the Publish dialog box.

Click Publish. The publishing process checks the batch class selections,
including any Ascent Xtrata Pro-specific settings, and returns the results to
the Results box.
4 Assess any warnings and correct them if necessary and republish if changes
are made. If errors are found, you must correct them and publish the batch
class.
Note
During the publishing process, the Ascent Xtrata Pro project is copied
to the Program Files\Ascent\MailroomDB\Projects folder. Each project is
stored with a different ID.
Do not change the contents of these folders. When editing or modifying a
project, always open the original project with Ascent Xtrata Pro Project
Builder. If you make changes to the project, you must resynchronize it with
the Ascent Capture batch class and republish the batch class.
