This card, one of the Motorola MVME167 family, may be installed in place
of the MVME147 card in new modules running Meridian Link and/or CCR.
The MVME167 card consists of the following:
¥ MC68040 microprocessor operating at 25 MHz
¥ 16 Mbytes of dynamic random access memory (DRAM)
¥ MC68882 floating point coprocessor
¥ shared dynamic random access memory (DRAM), with parity
¥ time-of-day clock and calendar with battery backup
¥ 128 kbytes of static random access memory (SRAM)
The SBC card provides the following interfaces:
¥ SCSI bus interface with DMA channel to control the disk/tape unit
¥ four serial I/O ports with EIA-232-D buffers
¥ one parallel I/O port with an EIA-232-D buffer
¥ Ethernet transceiver interface
The SBC card also provides the following functions:
¥ VME bus interrupter
¥ VME bus system controller functions
¥ VME bus master interface
¥ VME bus requester
