5.3.2 Creating a VT
Do as follows on the routers:
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view appears.
Step 2 Run:
interface vi rtual-template vt-number
The command creates the virtual template and the VT view appears.
vt-number
specifies the number of the virtual interface template. The value ranges from 0 to
1023. You can create up to 1024 virtual templates.
While deleting the virtual template, ensure that all of its derived virtual access interfaces are
removed and the virtual template is not in use.
