Fault analysis

After the PVC of Router A is faulty or deleted, the PVC that connects Router B does not sense

the status change of the remote PVC immediately, and the PVC of Router B still works
normally but lose the packets.

The OAM F5 Loopback function is a re-transmission detection mechanism, through which the

local PVC can sense the status change of the remote PVC immediately.

Configuring the OAM F5 Loopback function in the PVC of ATM can solve this problem.
