interfaces

Networking requirements

You need to directly connect the POS interfaces of Router A and Router B with a pair of
single mode optic fiber (receiving, sending) through PPP.

Configuration roadmap

The configuration roadmap is as follows:

1.

Configure the link layer protocol to PPP.

2.

Configure the IP address.

Data preparation

To connect routers directly through POS interfaces, you need the following data:

The IP address of POS 1/0/0 of Router A is 10.110.1.10/24.

The IP address of POS 4/0/0 of Router A is 10.110.1.11/24.

Configuration procedure

Step 1 Configure Router A.
