6.10 Configuring MP fragment function

6.10.1 Establishing the configuration task

Applicable environment

To optimize the link channel after configuring the MP binding on the interface, you can

configure the fragment function for the MP packets based on the practical situation. The

fragment function includes the minimum packet length of fragmenting the outbound packet,
the re-group of the MP packet fragments, and the order guarantee of the packet on the

MP-Group interface.

Preconfiguration tasks

Before configuring the MP fragment function, complete the following tasks:

Configuring physical attributes of the router interface.

Configuring the link layer protocol of the interface as PPP.

Configuring MP binding.
