6 PPP and MP configuration

This section describes how to configure CHAP unidirectional authentication.

Preconfiguration tasks

Before configuring CHAP authentication, complete the following tasks:

Configuring physical attributes of the router interfaces.

Encapsulating the interfaces with PPP.
