7 LAPB and X.25 configuration

Step 1

Run:

system-view

The system view appears.

Step 2

Run:

x25 switch

The command enables X.25 switching.

Because the XOT is an extension of X.25 switching, you have to first start X.25 switching.

By default, X.25 switching is not enabled.

7.6.3 Configuring local switching (SVC)

Do as follows on the routers:

Step 1

Run:

system-view

The system view appears.

Step 2

Run:

x25 switch svc x.121-address [ sub-dest destination-address ]

[ sub-source

source-a^^ress ] interface serial interface-number

The command configures X.25 local switching i.

For SVC, after a packet is received from the remote side, you must configure local switching

to send the packet through the local switching interface.

The following commands determine the switching interface through which the packets are
sent out in SVC.

SVC

The following configuration determines how the packets received on the X.25 side are

forwarded through the IP network. The configurations of SVC and PVC are di^erent.
