4.2.2 Configuring link layer protocol

Do as follows on the routers:

Step 1 Run:

system-view

The system view appears.

Step 2 Run:

interface pos interface-number

The POS interface view appears.

Step 3 Run:

link-protocol { ppp | hdlc }

The command configures the link layer protocol of the POS interface.

By default, the link layer protocol of the POS interface is PPP.

4.2.3 Configuring clock mode

Do as follows on the routers:

Step 1 Run:

system-view

The system view appears.

Step 2 Run:

interface pos interface-number

The POS interface view appears.

Step 3 Run:

clock { master | slave }

The command configures the clock mode of the POS interface.

POS Interface supports the following two clock modes:

Master clock mode uses internal clock signal.

Slave clock mode uses line clock signal.
