8 Frame relay configuration

Configuring the MFR fragment size in the MFR interface view

Do as follows on the routers:

Step 1

Run:

system-view

The system view appears.

Step 2

Run:

interface mfr interface-number

The MFR interface view appears.

Step 3

Run:

mfr fragment

The command enables the MFR fragmentation.

Step 4

Run:

mfr fragment-size bytes

The command configures the maximum fragment permitted by bundle links.

By default, the maximum fragment is of 300 bytes.

After enabling the fragment function on the MFR interface, the bundle link first uses the
fragment size you configured in the FR interface view. If there is no configuration in the FR

interface view, it uses the fragment size configured in the MFR interface view.

8.12.3 Configuring the MFR sliding window size

Do as follows on the routers:

Step 1

Run:

system-view

The system view appears.

Step 2

Run:

interface mfr interface-number

The command creates the MFR interface and the MFR interface view appears.

Step 3

Run:

mfr window-size number

The command configures the MFR sliding window size.

By default, the size of MFR sliding window is equal to the number of physical interfaces

bundled by MFR.
