8 Frame relay configuration

interface interface-type interface-number.subnumber

The FR sub-interface view appears.

Step 3

Run:

fr dlci dl ci

The command configures the DLCI of the interface.

For an FR sub-interface, you must configure the DLCI. In addition, DLCIs on both ends

must be consistent.

8.2.5 Checking the configuration

Run the following commands to check the previous configuration.

Check the status of the FR protocol
and information about the interface.

display fr interface

Check the mapping between the

protocol address and the FR address.

command. When the status of the FR protocol and information

about the interface appears the configuration succeeds.

Run the

display fr map-info

command. When the mapping between the protocol address and

the FR address appears the configuration succeeds.
