10.10 Configuring ATM OAM
10.10.1 Establishing the Configuration Task
Applicable Environment
On the ATM network, to ensure that the service is not interrupted when detecting faults, you
need to configure the ATM OAM feature.
Pre-configuration Tasks
Before configuring the ATM OAM, complete the following tasks:
• Configuring physical attributes for the ATM interface
• Configuring an IP address and mask for the ATM interface
• Configuring ATM PVC
Data Preparation
To configure ATM OAM loopback, you need the following data.

2 PVC name, the network VPI and VCI
3 Interval of sending loopback cells
4 Identifier for the specified point of the loopback
