Usage

When the BPDU Guard feature is set for a bridge, all edgeport-enabled ports of the bridge that have the

BPDU guard set to default shut down the port on receiving a BPDU. In this case, the BPDU is not

processed. You can either bring the port back up manually by using the no shutdown command, or

configure the errdisable-timeout feature to enable the port after the specified time interval.

Use the show spanning-tree command to display the bridge and port configurations for the BPDU

Guard feature. It shows both the administratively configured and currently running values of BPDU

guard.

Examples

Switch# configure terminal

Switch(config)#
