7.23 spanning-tree restricted-role

Use this command to set the restricted-role value of the port to TRUE. Use the no parameter with this

command to set the restricted-role value of the port to FALSE.


Command Syntax

spanning-tree restricted-role

no spanning-tree restricted-role

Default

The default restricted-role value is FALSE.

7.24 spanning-tree instance priority

Use this command to set the port priority for a bridge group. Use the no parameter with this command to

restore the default priority value.


Command Syntax

spanning-tree instance instance-id port-priority priority

no spanning-tree instance instance-id port-priority

instance-id

Specify the identifier.

priority

Specify the port priority (a lower priority indicates greater likelihood of the

interface becoming a root). The range is 0 to 240.

The default value of port priority for each instance is 128.
