Create ID files
Before doing this task, verify the following:
• XRE Management Server/XRE Node and XRE Monitor (management mode) is completely
installed.
1. On the EDIUS XRE Server, open GV License Manager .
2. Click Offline Activation - Create ID File .
The Serial Input dialog box opens.
3. Enter the serial number for activation.
The Folder Selection dialog box opens.
4. Select a location in which to create files.
The recommend location is C:\XREactivate . Create this directory if it is not already created.
The activation process creates the following files in the selected location.
• ID.key
• GV ActivationServer.url
• EDIUSLicenseInfo.key
• EDIUSActivation.exe
5. Copy the files to a removable drive.
Next, run EDIUS Activation Agent.
Run EDIUS Activation Agent
Before doing this task, you must have ID and Activation Agent files from the EDIUS XRE Server
that you are activating.
1. From the removable drive, copy the files to a PC that is connected to the Internet.
