Offline Activation - Register Activation File

4. Select the
responseXML.xml
file.
The following message opens.
Activation is complete.
Grass Valley recommends that you copy all the files from
C:\XREactivate
to a similar folder on
the Control Point PC, in case you need to re-license in the future.
Deactivate EDIUS XRE Server offline
If necessary, you can deactivate an EDIUS XRE Server that is currently activated.
1. On the EDIUS XRE Server, open
GV License Manager
.
2. Click
Offline Deactivation - Create ID File
.
The deactivation process creates the following ID files in the selected location.
•
ID.key
•
EDIUSLicenseInfo.key
•
EDIUSDeactivation.exe
3. Follow a process similar to the activation steps, as follows:
a) Copy the ID files to a PC that is connected to the Internet.
b) Run
EDIUSDeactivation.exe
to create the
responseXML.xml
file.
c) Copy the
responseXML.xml
file to the EDIUS XRE Server you are deactivating.
d) Open
GV License Manager
.
e) Click
Offline Deactivation - Register Activation File
and select the
responseXML.xml
file.
Deactivation is complete.
