Installing software

If the response was YES, the software will be installed on the system.
Continue with the next step (

Observe the TTY or terminal screen. Progress messages will appear
on the screen as the software is installed. When the installation
program has ended, the following message displays:

Installation completed successfully.

Continue to observe the terminal screen. The system is operational
when the following message displays:

For an IP expansion Small System, configure the IP Daughterboard

Installing software on IP Expansion Cabinets or Chassis

Point-to-Point or Layer 2 with BOOTP configuration

For Point-to-Point or Layer 2 with BOOTP configuration, you do not need
a TTY connected to the IP Expansion Cabinet or Chassis. Power up the
system, and the software installs automatically.

Layer 2 or Layer 3 with manual configuration

With a TTY connected to the IP Expansion Cabinet or Chassis:
