Running a
method
(preliminary
steps)

Before running a method or a sequence (sequence with a SAC80
Sample Changer), perform the following operations in the order listed
below:

1.

Select method.

Refer to "Select method", page 175

.

2.

If Question marks "?" are present in the Reagent and/or Electrode
tabs, it means that the method needs to be programmed - a rea-
gent or an electrode is missing. Review programming in Supervi-
sor mode.

Refer to "Programming method", page 138

3.

Connect/Check electrodes.

Refer to "Electrode connection", page 86

.

4.

Install/Check reagent(s).

Refer to "Install reagent", page 108

.

5.

When Sunny icons are visible in the Reagent and Electrode tabs,
press 1 in the Main window.

Refer to "Reagent icons", page 149

Refer to "Electrode icons", page 87

.

If you have a problem running the analysis, the Titration
Manager will guide you through the necessary operations so
that you are able to run the analysis in no time at all.

Important - About the Sample Run start option :
If

Sample Run Start = Shortcut

has been

selected in the Setup > Configuration menu,
dip the electrodes into the sample before pressing 1
(step 5) !
