Sample Run
Start/Run End
(Standard/
Shortcut)

These 2 parameters enable to bypass user prompts while running
sample methods (measurement or titration methods).
These parameters do not apply for electrode or reagent calibration
methods.

Sample Run Start = Standard or Shortcut
Enable to bypass (Shortcut option) or not (Standard option) screens
displayed between the keystroke on 1 Run "Method ID" in the Main
window and the live measurement display. That is to say the following
screens (if relevant):

- User ID and sample temperature,
- Sample ID and sample test quantity (titration method only),
- Rinse and dip electrodes in beaker .

Therefore, it is recommended to start running a method with the
Standard option selected so that it is possible to enter a User ID, a
sample test quantity, a sample ID and a Sample temperature. Then,
you can run batches of samples with the Shortcut option selected.

Refer to "Running a method (preliminary steps)", page 162

.

Using the Shortcut mode, you must rinse and dip the
electrodes in the sample before running the method !

If the method has been programmed with several tests (rep-
licates) for one sample, at the end of the first test (and the
second test, if 3 tests programmed), the New test (press 1)/
New sample (press 2) selection screen is displayed.
Rinse and dip the electrodes in the new test or new
sample before making your choice by pressing 1 or 2.

Sample Run End = Standard or Shortcut
Enable to bypass (Shortcut option) or not (Standard option) screens
displayed between the end of measurements and the sample result
screen. That is to say, to bypass the test result screens with the possi-
bility to view a direct or derivative titration curve or to recalculate a test
result by changing the sample test quantity (titration methods). By
selecting the Shortcut mode, the results (if found) are automatically
saved and can be not recaculated before saving.

If the method has been edited with 1 test (replicate) for the sample, by
using the Shortcut mode, you are not able to repeat tests on a same
sample or to run other samples as the method is ended automatically.

Refer to "Running a method (last steps)", page 165
