In the following programming examples, the dead zone set value is set to 10,000 and the output value is stored in
MW00000.
The output values are calculated with respect to the input values in MW00001 to MW00003 as shown below.

• Outside of the Dead Zone

Because MW00001 (12,345) > 0 and | MW00001 (12,345) |

≥ | 10,000 |, so MW00000 = 12,345 – | 10,000 | =

2,345.

MW00002 (-12,345) < 0, | MW00002 (-12,345) |

≥ | 10,000 |, so MW00000 = -12,345 + | 10,000 | = -2,345.

• Inside of the Dead Zone

| MW00003 (6,789) | < | 10,000 |, so MW00000 is 0.
