Parameter setting & configuration

Homing mode

Evaluation of switches/sensors
Depending on the mode selected, the following switches/sensors are evaluated during the

reference search:

 Reference switch at the digital input DI2
 Positive travel range limit switch at the digital input DI3
 Negative travel range limit switch at the digital input DI4

Touch probe
For the homing modes with touch probe, the tripping event is an edge change at digital

input DI1 (Lenze setting).

Note!

Profile data set change-over
For the reference search two profile data sets with different speeds and

accelerations can be parameterised to reduce the homing time and increase the

accuracy.

Profile data set change-over

( 81)

The following process descriptions give information about when exactly the

change-over to profile data set 2 takes place in the corresponding homing mode.
If the speed 2 (

0x6099/2

) is set to = "0" (Lenze setting), no change-over to profile

data set 2 takes place and the reference search and positioning to the target

position is only executed with the profile parameters of profile data set 1.

Note!

Drive behaviour after setting the reference
Via the object

0x60FB/7

(homing stop mode) you can select how the drive

behaves after setting the home position.

Drive behaviour after setting the home position

( 80)

In the Lenze setting (

0x60FB/7

= "0") the drive behaves absolute to the target

position set in C02643 like before.
