Effect

If the drive exceeds the defined stroke limit value when command M39 is accessed
(in positive or negative direction), M39 will be deactivated, an appropriate fault will
be shown and the axis will be stopped (controlled stop).
If 0 is specified as the stroke limit value, the drive can move freely between the
software end positions.
In the case of drives with an incremental measuring system (e.g. B. DNCI−...)
without reference travel carried out, the axis can move freely without limits.
Please note
When the stroke limit value (e.g. M40 X0) is switched off, the monitoring of the
speed limit value (M41) will also be switched off.

Remark

This command has a saving effect. It remains effective until a new stroke limit value
is defined.

This syntax is only available as from operating system version 4.6. Programs which contain this
syntax cannot be edited with control panel type SPC200−MMI−1... .
