Configuring SIP local survival

Service configuration

Select Voice Management > SIP Local Survival > Service Configuration from the navigation tree to

access the page as shown in

Figure 767

.

Item Description

Server Running State

Enable—Enable the local SIP server.

Disable—Disable the local SIP server.

By default, the local SIP server is disabled.

IP Address Bound to the
Server

Enter the IP address of the local server, which can be a local interface's IP address,
or a loopback address such as 127.0.0.1. The IP address of a local interface is

recommended because a loopback address cannot accept registrations from
remote users.
When the local SIP server is enabled, the IP address of the local server must be
provided.

Port Bound to the Server

Enter the port number of the local SIP server.

Registration Aging Time
of the Client

Enter the maximum registration interval of clients.
