Make a hard-wired connection from the external supply to the screw
terminals on the bottom of the AIC+.
Connecting to DeviceNet You can connect a MicroLogix 1400 as a slave to a DeviceNet network using the
DeviceNet Interface (DNI), catalog number 1761-NET-DNI. For additional
information on using the DNI, refer to the
DeviceNet Interface User Manual,
publication 1761-UM005 . The following figure shows the external wiring
connections of the DNI.

ATTENTION: If you use an external power supply, it must be 24V
DC (-15%/+20%). Permanent damage results if miswired with the
wrong power source.
