Conditions
For a reliable power transmission from the drive roll to the material the following condition has to

be met. Otherwise a warning appears.

Static friction coefficient

• The power transmission between roll and material length is effected by friction. The coeffi-

cient of static friction specifies how great the force to be transmitted can be in proportion to

the normal force on the roll.

• Value can be entered directly or selected from the "Physical coefficients" table.
