4.2 Registering and activating DSD licence

Activating the DSD licence automatically 
Recommended if a connection to the Internet has been established.
1. Click the Automatic button.
• The request is automatically sent to the Lenze DSD server.
• You will receive an e-mail with information on the registration and the registration code.
2. Now restart the DSD. When an internet connection has been established, the DSD searches for
the registration code on the Lenze DSD server.
• After the search has been completed successfully, the registration code is accepted automat-
ically.
• A dialog confirms the successful activation of the DSD licence.
• If the DSD licence on the DSD server has not been activated yet and you start the DSD, the
following message appears:
Activating the DSD licence manually 
Recommended if there is no Internet connection or if the registration code must be entered manu-
ally.
1. Click the Manually button.
• The following dialog box is displayed.
2. Forward the licence data  to your responsible Lenze sales department to receive your registra-
tion code.
3. Enter the registration code in the activation  field and click on Accept.
4. Click on Next and follow the instructions.
