Yes: The brake is active during downtimes 1 ... 3. If the brake is activated, the motor does not

have to provide a torque.

No: The brake is not active during downtimes 1 ... 3.

Yes: The controller of the inverter is inhibited during downtimes 1 ... 3. The thermal load of

the inverter and the motor is reduced.

No: The controller of the inverter is enabled during downtimes 1 ... 2.

• The controller is always inhibited during downtime 3.
