3. Start.
❐ Your fax message is stored and held on polling standby.
NOTE: If you see " ALREADY INPUT ", you already have a message on Free
Polling Standby.
❐ To clear the old message: Clear the old polling transmission file
using function 23 (see page 104). Then start from the step 1
again.
Secured Polling
1. Place your document in the feeder. TRANSMIT OPTION k
DIAL FAX NUMBER
2. Function 1 4 and Yes. POLLING TRANS OPT k

NOTE:
If you have not yet stored an ID Code using Function 61, you will be asked to
enter an ID Code. Proceed in the same way as for step 4 in "Stored ID
Override" on the next page.
3. Start.
❐ Your fax message is stored and held on polling standby.
NOTE: If you see " ALREADY INPUT " you already have a message on Se-
cured Polling Standby.
❐ To erase the old message: Clear the old polling transmission file
using function 23 (see page 104).
❐ To keep the old message: Input an ID code in the same way as
for step 3 in "Stored ID Override" below.
Stored ID Override
This procedure will override the ID Code stored in your machine. The override is
only effective for this one transmission.
