User Parameter Settings

A wide range of features can be switched on or off by using the User Parameters.
However, this feature is more difficult to use than the On/Off Switches. The
switches and adjustments are presented on the screen as rows of digits. Each
digit can be either 0 or 1. Each feature is allocated one or more digit. The value of
the digit determines the status of the feature.

The overall procedure is explained below. However, each of the adjustments that
can be made using this procedure is explained in the relevant part of the manual.

At this time, you can print a User Parameter
List if you press

j

and Start.

2. Yes.

The current settings for switch 00 are
now displayed on the bottom line of the
display. If the settings for this switch are
the way that you want them, go to step 4.

3. To change the required setting, press a

number from 0 to 7 corresponding to the
digit that you wish to change.
Example: 0 from the ten key. The value
of the digit changes, in this case from 0
to 1.

Each switch contains 8 digits, which act as on/off switches for various
features. The digits are numbered from 7 to 0; the setting of digit 7 is shown
at the left side of the display and digit 0 is at the right.

4. Either:

until the required switch appears.

Then go to step 3.
